Finding the Smoothcomp ID

Athletes are able to visit smoothcomp.com/id in order to view their Smoothcomp ID. By scanning the QR code or bar code the organizer can easily find an athlete's registrations for a smoother check-in and weigh-in.

Scanning the QR code (for organizers)

The QR code is meant to be scanned by a mobile device like an iPad or smart phone using the built-in camera.

Apple iPhone and iPads

• Open the Camera app
• Align the camera with the QR code on the screen
• Click the link

Android devices

• Open the Camera app. If your built-in camera doesn't support QR codes, please download a QR scanner. For example this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gamma.scan
• Scan the QR code and follow the instructions

Scanning the bar code (for organizers)

The bar code is meant to be scanned with a bar code scanner connected to your computer.

• Open Smoothcomp Desktop App, or download it here
• Login and navigate to your event
• Click the Weigh-in menu
• Place your cursor in the "Enter user id" field
• Scan the bar code

After scanning you will see the athlete's registration, making check-in and weigh-in faster and easier!
