Placement bracket

The Placement bracket is the most manual bracket type we offer. This let's you skip all the automatic placement through wins and points, and instead you as the organizer assign all the placements yourself.

This bracket type can also be used for basically every sport where a scoreboard is not present, or where there's a scoreboard we don't have technical support for yet. That might be table tennis, rowing or anything else you can come up with!

Maybe it's not a sport at all. This bracket type would be great for the Eurovision Song Contest! ;)

Jokes aside, this is for you who want to set the placement manually, whatever the occasion might be!

This is how a Placement bracket can look after setting all the placements:

How to create a Placement bracket

Start with visiting the registrations list and as usual, click on "Create bracket" for the group of choice.

Then click the "Placement bracket".

After this, just choose what category and mat the bracket should be created to, and click "Create bracket". The mat selection can of course be changed and the bracket moved around later on.

For this bracket, unlike for most other bracket types, no scoreboard settings are required. This is simply because this bracket type is not supposed to be run with a scoreboard, like previously mentioned. The Placement bracket might be for those sports or occasions where the scoreboard doesn't really make sense to use. Examples of this might be if you have a larger number of referees who each contribute to the scoring, which you then compile into a score.
