Offset ranking points in team matches
For team matches, it's now possible to change or "offset" the points within the match.
Here's how to do it:
- Start by visiting the teammatch, scroll down to the section "Total points". In our example a match has just finished and the blue team won all matches receiving five points for the win. However, at the end of the last match an athlete showed unsportsmanlike conduct so the event management decided according to the rules that two points will be deducted (offset) from their score.
- To offset the points of one team, click the blue "Edit"-button on the team which points you want to offset. That will bring up a window looking like the one below. To add an offset, simply click the blue "Add new offset"-button.
- Now enter the amount of points you wish to offset (positive or negative), as well as an optional comment about why the points were offset. You can add multiple offsets by clicking the "Add new offset"-button again, and also remove offsets by clicking the red cross button on the right of the offset you wish to remove. When you are happy with the offsets, just click on "Save" to save the changes.
- The offsets are now visible under the "Total points" section. To edit the offsets, simply click the "Edit" button like before, and the same window with all the offsets for that team will appear again.
