How to edit your account details

There are a few different personal details in your profile settings, and sometimes you might wish to manage them.

To edit your account details, go to the Profile tab, then press Settings.

This will open up the settings page. You can make a variety of changes, to your profile.

To change any fields, just hit the blue Edit text on the right side of the field and input the correct value. Be careful around Email and Password, since these are your login credentials.

Why is my field locked?

If any fields are locked and not editable, this is because you have previously competed with your profile. The fields are locked:

To avoid changing the wrong accounts, or if someone else are able to login on your account
To ensure fair play (competing against easier opponents then what you are allowed to) this will make sure your opponents can't change to a lower belt then what they previously competed at.

What fields are locked?

First name
Date of birth
Gender

Current belt

Profile and Cover image

If you don't have an image currently selected for Profile or Cover click Select image to open up the photo selection on your device. If you already have an image selected and saved, click Edit.

Belt/Skill levels

To add a belt/skill, click Add Belt/skill. You can select:

Type (BJJ, Judo, Karate etc.)
Belt (color or grade)
Achieved, a date input for when the belt was achieved
Promoted by, a text field for the name of who promoted you

To change a belt, click the pen icon next to the belt in question. If there is no pen icon available, the belt is locked.

Academies

You can manage your current academy memberships as well as join new academies. You can read about how to change your academy here. If you wish to join a new academy, just search for the academy name in the input field and click the correct one in the resulting list. Then click Join academy.
