Smoothcomp TV (PPV)

Our pay per view (PPV) solution is called Smoothcomp TV, a unique platform for watching streams and replays and 100% connected to Smoothcomp.com with our event management. Our streaming technology automatically cuts and connects matches to brackets and user profiles and the watch page has a user interface (UI) that makes it super easy to find the matches you want to see.

Setting up a PPV stream for your event works the same way as for other streams on Smoothcomp, create the streams, scan the QR code and the stream keys (destination keys) will be imported to the device. Once imported you are ready to start streaming. Learn more in this article.

The watchpage on the event

The watch page displays three tabs that helps you find the content you are looking for.

Live will display all livestreams for the event and you can drag them to the center area and run up to 4 simultaneous streams.

To use the split screen just drag any livestream (or replay) to the watch area and it will start playing next to the other video.

If you cant (or dont want to) drag & drop to a add a video you can first click the + icon and then click any livestream or replay to add the video to that open spot.

Replace a video in two simple steps.

Activate a video in the center area
Click any video from the sidebar to replace it.

Upcoming will display all the upcoming matches during the event (and during 2024 we will add many advanced tools to this section.)

Replays: As soon as a match has been saved by the scorekeeper they are available under replays so you can add them to your mix.

Replays are available seconds after the match has been saved.

We hate getting spoiled by thumbnails or other information so Smoothcomp TV have a spoiler setting. By default it is not spoiling any results but if you want you can activate it.

The spoilers checkbox makes sure you are not getting spoiled.

Cinema mode lets you watch everything on your big ass monitor in your office, at home in your sofa or on the TV in the reception of the academy.

Watching videos on Smoothcomp from brackets

If the stream is done via Smoothcomp TV the videos are also cut and connected to brackets so you can follow the matches from the brackets as well.

The watch buttons are also available on the athlete profiles.
