Options

Options can be changed during the stream (without stopping the stream).

  • CameraTorch allows you to turn on the flash light.
  • CameraExposure comp allows you to increase/decrease the exposure (brightness) of the image.
  • Camera → Zoom allows you to change camera on the device (if multiple cameras) and zoom digitally.
  • Camera → Color temperature is helpful if you find the image too cold or warm.
  • Overlays let's you manually turn on/off the overlays (scoreboard and the Tale of the Tapes).
  • Audio → Input gain allows you to increase/decrease the outgoing audio volume.
  • Audio → Active input/preferred input allows you to select an external microphone for professional audio.

Settings

There are plenty of advanced settings. We will cover the most important ones here:

  • Video → Resolution allows you to select the resolution. The higher resolution the more pixels and better image. The higher resolution the more bandwidth (internet upload speed) is needed.
  • Video → Bitrate specifies how much data (internet upload speed) that will be used. The more the better quality, but will also require more data (internet upload speed).
  • Video → Format allows you to select format where h264 is the standard. On Apple devices it's possible to select HEVC which is more effective than h264 (better quality with less amount of bandwidth). We recommend that you select this option if your platform has support for it.
  • Audio allows you to select default microphones and set audio channels as well as bitrates etc.
  • Record allows you to record the video and save it locally on the device.
  • Advanced allows you to set Max. active connections and other advanced settings.
