Add event templates to your federation platform

Any event that is hosted on the federation platform can serve as a template for organisers connected to the federation. There are great benefits of hosting templates on the platform:

• All entries and classes (along with class rules) are already created. All that needs to be adjusted is the prices.
• Cross event rankings will work smoothly as all events use the same terminology.
• The federation can include pages with information that should be present at all events.

Add an existing event as template

Go to the federation admin menu and click 'Events', then click the "Use as template" next to the event you wish to use:

Create a new event template

Same thing as creating a new even. Except that you have to make sure that the organizer account is connected to the federation. Then make sure that when you create the event you tick the box that says "Run this event under a federation"

Once the event is created:

You can go back to the federation menu and add it to your templates.

It is now accessable to all connected organizer when creating new events.
